Working for The Admirable Crichton we were asked to recreate the popular West End show “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” for a birthday party. The event was to showcase a live performance of the show during the evening. The reception area was designed and built with plain white cladding to ensure a breathtaking reveal as the guests entered the purpose built three tiered theatre within the marquee. Inspired from the original show, Priscilla-the-bus was built using a steel frame and integrated LED video-flex. The proscenium arch, made in sections of polystyrene foam and assembled on site, was finished in classic red and gold detailing. Below the stage was a sunken orchestra pit which played the score for the live show.  Booths inset into the walls created the cabaret style seating for dining.
